Paul Simon
Paul was born in the little southern Illinois town of Olney. Growing up in the heartland of America greatly shaped his national outlook and views of patriotism. An early influential character in his life, Paul's grandfather influenced him with stories from the bible and instilled in him a system of character and honor.
As soon as he came of age Paul pledged his life to the United States Navy. After many years of service he was injured during the evacuation of Cyprus. Worn and tattered Paul returned to the states for rehabilitation. Upon learning that he would forever suffer from a loss of the essential function of his right arm Paul was forced to withdraw from service and return to Olney.
Every the optimist, he forged forward and earned an Associates Degree in Engineering.
After earning his degree he was hired at Fram Corporation as a production supervisor. Throughout his eight year tenure with Fram Paul managed every helm of the production and staff. Opportunities presented themselves and the bigger challenge of Operation Manager at Meg Corporation became the next stepping stone. While at Meg, Paul's leadership and organizational skills brought high standards, breaking production records time and time again.
Upon retirement from Meg Corporation Paul and his wife Rita have relocated to Georgia hoping the mild winters will have a better effect on his various disabilities. Paul and Rita founded LiveWire in 2009.
